Warm "Golden Milk" Vegan Smoothie
Need to add a little yin to your yang? As much as we love to hear that Ener-C is your go-to for delicious and refreshing hydration and immunity, when the weather gets a little colder we sometimes crave a warming, soothing and sustaining drink like Lindsay Mustard's restorative and delicious warm, turmeric smoothie!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 banana
- 1 scoop plant-based protein powder (I use Vega’s Protein & Greens)
- 1 tbsp almond, peanut or coconut butter
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Pinch of cinnamon powder
- Pinch of sea salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup coconut or almond milk
Directions:
- Add ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smoothie.
- Serve and enjoy!
